Joseph Levy Food Enterprises Ltd. started operating during the 1950s under the management of Joseph Levy and is currently managed by his son Menashe Levy who had joined the company in 1979. The company's main business during its early days concerned import and marketing of pistachio, nuts and spices. Over the years its activity expanded to include a various range of products such as nuts, dried fruits, pulses, spices, raw materials for the food industry and various other products that suit the preferences of the Israeli consumer. The products' consumption among Israeli consumers is changing in a seasonal pattern and so does the global crops' supply. Over the years our company is highly attentive to its consumers and makes sure to satisfy their needs as accurately as possible. At the same time, our products' list is occasionally modified and updated. We import from a wide range of international sources which usually include regular suppliers that provide us with the best crops, while guaranteeing optimal products quality. Our company's marketing targets are diverse and include, among others, the local industries, large chain of stores, roasting-houses, packing-houses, wholesalers in the private sector, as well as large scale marketing mechanism in the Palestinian Authority territories. In addition, the company exports local agricultural products, mainly dates and almonds, and conducts international transit transactions executed thanks to its branching contacts worldwide.
